▪ Jonah Jensen, has recently been named associate principal at BLRB Architects in Tacoma. Previously he was a senior associate. Jensen has been with the firm since 2006 and has served as designer, architect and project manager on a variety of K-12 projects, including the rehabilitation and expansion of Tacoma’s Washington Elementary School, and the modernization and expansion of the historic Loyal Heights Elementary School in Seattle. He received a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University.
▪ Anne Beatrice Baker has joined BOE Architects of Tacoma, as a project architect. She will be contributing to current projects of the firm including the Northwest Vipassana Meditation Pagoda, the Tacoma Waldorf School Renovation, and summer improvement projects for Pacific Lutheran University and Tacoma’s iDEA School.
Baker received a bachelor’s degree from University of and a master’s degree from Columbia University. She has recently earned her Architect License this spring.
▪ Brandi Carlson has joined Pacific Grill Events & Catering in Tacoma, as director of sales and operations. She will guide guests through event planning and assist in bringing their visions to life. Carlson is responsible for increasing sales by leading a successful sales team with a clear vision. Previously she was banquet and catering sales director for CI Shenanigans/RAM Catering, assistant general manager for CI Shenanigans and catering sales and operations manager for Mama Stortini's.
▪ Alliance Enterprises in DuPont, recently was recognized by Microsoft with its State and Local Government Digital Transformation Partner of the Year award. The company was recognized for delivering technology solutions that positively changed the vocational rehabilitation industry. Alliance’s cloud services and case management software “Aware” is used by 12,000 counselors helping more than 500,000 individuals with disabilities find and maintain employment each year.
