Taco Bell is set to open a 2,150 square-foot restaurant next month in Milton.

Construction on the site at 328 Meridian Ave. should be done in the next few weeks, with a planned opening Dec. 4, according to a news release Thursday.

Taco Bell expects to hire 35 to 40 employees. Apply online at jobs.tacobell.com/

“The new 40-seat restaurant planned will be one of Taco Bell’s newest ‘Explorer’ building design.” according to the Benaroya Co., from which the restaurant chain bought the retail site.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Features at the restaurant will include a patio and “an overall modern, stylistic look,” Benaroya said.

As for the look, Taco Bell, in a website description that starts with “Bet you didn’t think a Taco Bell could be more beautiful,” is one of four new designs the chain is adopting.

The “Modern Explorer” was “inspired by the farm to table movement,” and comes with an open kitchen design, the company said.
