Scott Fletcher has joined Colvos Construction in Tacoma as a project engineer. His responsibilities and focus will range from pre-construction through final closeout of his projects with his first assignment being the Infoblox Tenant Improvement project. Previously Fletcher was a service manager with Northwest Fire Systems.
Peter Christman has recently been promoted to vice president of information technology for Novinium, a provider of underground electrical cable rejuvenation services to electric utilities. Christman guided his team in the initial development and continuous improvement of Knomentous, Novinium's flagship rejuvenation software and more recently, he has led development for Noviniums subsidiary company, Plenovo, on the PreVent, VaultVision, data analytics platform. He has spent the last five years in the utility industry. Christmas received a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington.
Andy Colley has been named director of public relations for Comcast. He will be responsible for developing, planning and implementing all strategic external communications for Comcast's Washington service areas, with a focus on Tacoma. Previously, Colley served as a corporate communications director at AT&T. He received a bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach.
Tacoma #8 Rotary, at its recent 'Raise the Paddle' annual auction, raised more than $78,000 to build a house for the Tacoma Habitat for Humanity. Members will assist in the house build beginning this summer. The donation was presented to Habitat CEO Maureen Fife and development director Elliot Stockstad by club president Mark Anderson and auction chair Carol Duris.
