FedEx line-haul routes in Tacoma can be yours, for a price
Tacoma is on a list of cities with FedEx routes for sale.
KR Capital, a broker of FedEx routes, has among its current offerings 10 line-haul routes listed under Tacoma, with an asking price of $1.1 million. The Tacoma listing cites gross revenue of more than $2 million annually, with existing equipment valued at $432,588 and a total of 16 vehicles and 11 employees.
The reason for the sale is listed as “retirement.”
“This route comes with a very tenured list of experienced employees,” said Kyle Rohner, principal of KR Capital, in a recent release. “A tightly run operation with a dedicated and experienced employee base, combined with Tacoma’s prime location near Interstate 5, means that this solid investment will only continue to flourish.”
Line haul routes are different than pickup and delivery routes in that P&D are the smaller delivery routes to customers, commercial and residential, whereas the line-haul routes are typically handled by semi-trucks on the interstate.
FedEx has used the contractor model for routes since 1998. Potential buyers can go to https://www.deliveryroutesforsale.com/ for more information.
