UPDATE: Roundtable is open to businesses of all sizes.

Anyone running a business is facing a new coronavirus world reality. How to deal with that will be the focus of new Washington state business roundtable calls starting Monday in Tacoma.

Organized by the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County, a new series of regular conference calls will share information and what to know about existing and emerging aid for all businesses, as well as a chance to interact on best practices that might help.

You do not have to be a member of the Chamber or Economic Development Board to participate.

You can participate by conference call or through a webinar. The first virtual session is set for 11 a.m. Monday (March 16).

Participants scheduled for the first call include Pierce County Executive Bruce Dammeier, Jody Ferguson, director of Pierce County Emergency Management and Gary Wescott of the Pierce County Economic Development Department.

Participation information including a link to the Zoom meeting and dial in options are posted on the Chamber’s website: https://www.tacomachamber.org/.

For additional information to help for local businesses, go to Make It Tacoma’s website.
