Federal Way theme and water park to hold hiring event this month. 700 jobs available

Wild Waves Theme & Water Park in Federal Way will hold a hiring event April 30.

Nearly 700 positions are available for the 2022 season, the park said in a news release. They include jobs in aquatics, rides, food service retail and other services.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In-person and virtual interviews are available. People must register at wildwaves.com/jobs by 5 p.m. April 28 to schedule an interview time.

“These roles are appropriate for applicants at any skill level, with competitive hourly pay, opportunity for promotion, and unique benefits — including free park admission, flexible schedules, and a fun work environment,” according to the news release. “The minimum age to apply is 16 and pay starts at $14.50 an hour or higher depending on department. Immediate job offers will be given after successful interviews.”

The park plans to open on weekends May 28 to June 12 and will be open daily June 17 to Sept. 5.
