Fast food and more coming to Tehaleh with new multi-tenant commercial development

Fast-food fans in Tehaleh, rejoice. New businesses are coming your way.

Cleveland-based Visconsi Companies has purchased a nine-acre commercial site in Tehaleh near Bonney Lake for the community’s first major commercial development, Brookfield Properties announced Thursday.

The planned Canyon View Village Center will be on either side of Canyon View Boulevard north of Cascadia Boulevard East.

Anchor tenants include 7-Eleven and Wendy’s, along with a coffee shop, full-service restaurants, dental office, day care and other retail and services, according to the announcement.

According to the release, “Center tenants will adhere to Tehaleh’s architectural standards, with 7-Eleven unveiling a first-of-its-kind design for this location.”

“Visconsi Companies is committed to bring much needed services, conveniently located within Tehaleh,” said Scott Jones, senior vice president of operations at Brookfield Properties, in a statement. “They know how to create successful commercial centers that serve their communities and fit local aesthetics.”

“Tehaleh is so walkable. Soon residents will be able to walk and grab a quart of milk or stop for a Frosty after going to the park on a hot day,” said Brad Goldberg, vice president of development for Visconsi Companies.

Construction is set to begin this month with the first tenant opening early spring 2023, according to the release.

Visconsi Companies is involved in the development of shopping centers, health care facilities and other real estate ventures. It is tied to other projects in the area, including the Costco-anchored Mountain View Marketplace in Bonney Lake.

Tehaleh, a residential community near Bonney Lake, has about 8,700 residents and two elementary schools, along with parks and trails among other amenities.
