Pickle biz founder named franchisee for Tacoma’s first Chick-fil-A; she is hiring now for all positions

Here’s one way to secure a Chick-fil-A franchise: Start with pickles.

That’s how it was for Tacoma native Lynnae Schneller, who has been named the franchisee for the city’s first Chick-fil-A store – due to open in mid-April – at 3902 S. Steele St. near Tacoma Mall.

The Lynnae’s Gourmet Pickles operation Schneller founded will continue under the leadership of company President Aly Cullinane.

“I was born and raised in Tacoma, so to own a second business that connects me and my family with this great community in a new way, it’s all I could ask for,” Schneller said in a release issued Tuesday.

Meanwhile, she said in a phone interview, “we’re just starting the hiring process.”

All jobs are available, Schneller said, from leadership and management positions to kitchen work both full- and part-time.

Interested applicants should contact Schneller at chickfilatacoma@gmail.com.
