Tacoma’s Commencement Bank plans loan-office expansion in Auburn
Tacoma-based Commencement Bank announced Monday that it will open a loan center in Auburn on Aug. 11 at 4798 Auburn Way N.
The office will be staffed by Tracie Bryant, vice president and commercial loan officer, and Karin Crane, loan support specialist.
“Having worked within the Auburn community for many years, it has always been my desire to return. Now that I am a part of a local, community bank, I am excited to be given the opportunity to provide my clients tailored products and services while providing the personal attention they deserve,” Bryant stated in a release.
The loan center is Commencement Bank’s second expansion outside of their headquarters branch in downtown Tacoma.
“We have been overwhelmed with positive response from our first loan center located in Enumclaw, which led to exploration of other potential locations,” said H.R. “Hal” Russell, Commencement president and CEO. “The combination of well-run, local businesses within this community makes Auburn a perfect fit for us.”
The new office is exclusively for loan generation, although a bank spokeswoman said Commencement plans to open a full-service branch in the near future. The bank will have an open house to celebrate the grand opening Aug. 11 from noon-3 p.m.
