The Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center announced this week it has changed out its parking pay stations, which will allow people to pay for their parking on their way into an event, rather than taking a ticket and having to wait until the end.

What’s better, the new stations eliminated the need for the electronic arms at the entrance and exit that created lines to get in and out of the garage that rivaled ants at a picnic and were about as fun.

The new pay stations accept cash as well as debit or credit cards. Parking rates are the same — free for the first 15 minutes to $10 maximum for four hours or more.
