Seattle-based Jack’s BBQ has a new location open near Tacoma.

The latest Jack’s BBQ in the chain is now open at 31254 Pacific Highway S. in Federal Way, just off Highway 99 north of The Commons and west of the new light-rail station, according to its website.

The site offers breakfast tacos on weekdays starting at 7 a.m. before it rolls into its regular seven-days-a-week lunch and dinner menu offerings.

Frito Pie is one of the menu options at Jack’s BBQ, which opened its new Federal Way restaurant Oct. 7.

The restaurant features specialties such as the Double R Ranch brisket along with other Central Texas BBQ dishes. Its menu features pulled pork, smoked chicken, jalapeno-cheddar sausage and pork ribs, along with its signature smoked meats, sides and desserts.

Frito Pie fans are in luck as that’s another menu option, as well as “The Picnic,” which essentially includes your pick of most of the menu (Brisket, ribs, sausage, pulled pork, chicken and four sides).

The Federal Way location, along with its counter service, includes a full bar with local brews on tap and cocktails. It offers dine-in, takeout and delivery.
