Hyundai Kona's April Lease Offers Are as Reasonably Priced as It Gets
The 2026 Hyundai Kona in a Nutshell
There's no shortage of crossovers over at Hyundai's roster. Heck, the brand has two subcompact models on offer to cast the widest net possible. The Kona is the bigger of the subcompact duo (the other one being the Venue), and the latest model continues the funky, attention-grabbing theme from the first generation.
The current model was introduced in 2023 for the 2024 model year, boasting a radical redesign inside and out. Despite being on the market for just a few years, it benefitted from a couple of updates in 2025, and the lineup was further streamlined in 2026.
2026 Hyundai Kona Lease Deals for April
For those who missed out on last month's offers, there's good news. April's lease promos are carried over from before, so there are still deals to be made here. All have due-at-signing prices of $3,999, and the lease period is 36 months. The cheapest to lease is the SE FWD at just $209 per month, while the SE AWD and SEL Sport FWD are $229 per month. The SEL Sport AWD is $249 per month.
Moving higher up the range, the SEL Premium FWD and SEL Premium AWD are $259 and $279 per month, respectively. At the top are the Limited models, with FWD at $329 per month and AWD at $349 per month. It's $0.20 for every mile beyond 10,000 per year, and these offers are valid until April 30, 2026.
2026 Hyundai Kona Highlights
There are four main trim levels for the Kona, namely SE, SEL Sport, SEL Premium, and Limited. Base prices for the 2026 Kona start at $25,500 for the SE FWD and top out at $35,750 for the Limited AWD. Standard kit for all trims includes a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and, of course, advanced driver-assist features via Hyundai SmartSense.
SEL Sport swaps out the steel wheels for plastic hubcaps and adds 18-inch alloys, along with wireless charging and dual-zone climate control. SEL Premium comes with power seats with lumbar adjusters, soft-touch dashboard and door trims, an electromechanical gear selector, and a turbocharged engine. As for the Limited, it comes with satin-chrome exterior highlights, a sunroof, a hands-free power tailgate, a heated steering wheel, a surround-view monitor, and blind-spot warning.
SE and SEL Sport models are powered by a 2.0-liter engine with 147 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque. SEL Sport and Limited get a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that produces 190 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is available for all trims.
Final Thoughts
The Kona offers more than just affordability; there's substance and value here. Sure, it's not exciting to drive, but as far as basic mobility goes, this little Hyundai delivers. It's great to see that the South Korean automaker is staying true to its roots of offering as many features as it can for not too much cash. The lease deals make the Kona an even more tempting proposition, so a test drive is in order.
