BMW X6's Irresistible May Lease Deals Are Now Live
The BMW X6 in a Nutshell
If you want to know the reason why several luxury automakers have come up with coupe crossovers, all you have to do is look at the BMW X6. While the idea isn't new, it was the Bavarians who made the concept work in the luxury market. The fact that it's been around for nearly 20 years and has spawned multiple generations means the company is doing something right.
Now in its third generation, the latest X6 debuted in 2019 for the 2020 model year. Like all models before it, it's an X5 with a sleeker rear-end treatment, trading off some practicality for the sake of flair. Internally known as the G06, this model received a facelift for 2024, and there are no major changes to report this year.
2026 BMW X6 Lease Deals for May
BMW's lease deals for the X6 are effectively carried over from last month and the one before that. That means those who missed out can still avail themselves of the same rates as before. We kick things off with the xDrive40i, which can be leased for $1,059 for 39 months, with $7,639 due at signing. For those who'd prefer V8 power, the M60i is $1,319 for 39 months with $8,979 due at signing.
There are more savings to be made thanks to a loyalty credit worth $2,000. There is a mileage cap of 32,500 miles over 39 months, and a charge of $0.30 per mile over that. These offers are valid until June 1, 2026.
2026 BMW X6 Highlights
The 2026 BMW X6 starts at $77,300 for the xDrive40i, while the M60i carries a base price of $98,000. Given its price, there are heaps of standard features equipped in the luxury coupe crossover. Interior niceties include heated front seats with memory, quad-zone automatic climate control, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and ambient lighting. Infotainment is handled by iDrive 8.5, along with an expansive curved-screen display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are, of course, included.
Of course, the M60i gets other upgrades, such as the M Sport exterior styling pack and more aggressive, body-hugging seats. It also comes with adaptive M Suspension, an M Sport differential, and a unique exhaust system. The M Sport package is available for the xDrive40i as well, but doesn't get the other performance upgrades.
For the xDrive40i, it's powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six that produces 375 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque. Go for the M60i, which swaps the six-cylinder for a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 with 523 hp and 553 lb-ft.
Final Thoughts
Even after all these years, the X6 still divides opinion, but there are more than enough buyers of the coupe crossover to keep it going. While not as practical as the X5, its extroverted exterior makes it a good choice for someone who'd like something with more flair. In other words, the X6 has everything that makes the X5 such a hugely competent and capable car, but in a sleeker package.
