New business offering gutter installation, cleaning, repair opens in Tacoma
There’s a new business in town for gutter-related services.
The Brothers That Just Do Gutters, a New York-based franchise, has expanded to the South Sound.
The new operation serves Pierce County, south King County and surrounding areas, including Lacey and the Key Peninsula, according to Zeke Edwards, co-owner of The Brothers That Just Do Gutters of Tacoma.
The other closest location of The Brothers That Just Do Gutters is in Redmond.
Customers can book services like gutter installation (including under-deck gutters), gutter repair, gutter cleaning, roof cleaning, maintenance programs and gutter-protection solutions, according to a news release. The business specializes in custom seamless gutters, which can offer better leak protection.
Edwards said gutter and roof cleanings also come in handy in the Northwest.
“With all the pine needles and all the evergreens that we have, as beautiful as they are here in the Northwest … they make a big mess,” Edwards said. “Making sure that your gutters are working properly and that the runoff is going where it needs to go is a huge part of what we’re doing.”
Edwards co-owns the Tacoma operation with his wife, Jamie. They started offering services May 19. They were both raised locally and have a “great affinity” for the Tacoma area, Jamie Edwards said.
The Brothers That Just Do Gutters emphasize customer service, Zeke Edwards said.
“I think we’ve all gone out and had services done to our home, and sometimes the communication is just lacking, right?” Zeke Edwards said. “So, [we’re] calling the night before showing up, calling 20 minutes before we’re there, and then when we’re showing up, [we’re] just going that extra mile.”
Prices for services are competitive within the industry standards, Zeke Edwards said. Gutter cleanings start at $300, but things like gutter type and size can impact prices.
