Fireball owner drops new canned cocktails, including hard cream sodas
Fireball's parent company is welcoming summer with three new canned cocktail brands, including flavors such as lemonade and cream soda.
Sazerac, which owns over 450 brands including Fireball, Buffalo Trace and Pappy Van Winkle, announced the company's three newest canned cocktails on Tuesday, June 23: Lovebug Hard Cream Soda, Endless Afternoon Whiskey Lemonade and Buckhorn Whiskey Lemonade.
The company said the ready-to-drink cocktail brands are part of its effort to give customers convenient drinks to choose from for specific occasions, like brunches and poolside gatherings.
The three picks are rolling out nationwide at select Sazerac retailers, the company told USA TODAY on Thursday, June 25. They're a permanent part of the company's lineup.
Here's what else we know about Sazerac's newest canned cocktails.
Vodka-based, dairy-free cream soda
First up is Lovebug Hard Cream Soda, Sazerac's first vodka-based cream soda.
"It blends indulgent cream soda flavor with a vodka base in a dairy-free, 12 ounce format," the company said, adding that the drink has no sugar and 100 calories. "It delivers a familiar yet elevated cocktail experience without compromise."

Whiskey lemonades
Next up is Buckhorn Bourbon Whiskey, which is made with blended whiskey, real lemon juice from concentrate and fruit flavor, the company said.
Buckhorn Bourbon Whiskey:

Flavors include:
- Classic Whiskey Lemonade
- Peach Whiskey Lemonade
- Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade
- Honey Whiskey Lemonade
Lastly, there's Endless Afternoon Whiskey Lemonade, which the company said is made of real whiskey and real lemon juice from concentrate.
"The brand offers a bright, crisp and easy-drinking experience at 9% ABV. Built for any drinking occasion, Endless Afternoon balances bold flavor and refreshment.
