Ryan Jorgenson & Limoli, in Gig Harbor, has recently made staff changes.

▪  Elizabeth Kirscher has been promoted to senior accountant with the firm. Kirscher has been a practicing CPA for two years and will continue to work with individual and business clients in tax planning and preparation. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and a master’s degree from UMUC.

▪  Shelbie Hicks has been promoted to administrative supervisor and has been with the company since 2007. She has a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University.

▪  Ron Messenger, president of New Tacoma Cemeteries, Funeral Home and Crematory in University Place, was recently reappointed by Gov. Jay Inslee to a three-year term on the executive branch of the state Department of Licensing’s funeral and cemetery board. He serves as chairman of the board. Messenger has been a funeral director for 34 years and has been president of New Tacoma Cemeteries since 2012. He previously worked for 20 years as general manager at Mountain View Funeral Home.
