Sightline presentation on Tacoma methanol facility proposal, oil trains scheduled for Tuesday

Tacoma residents will get a chance next week to learn more about oil trains and methanol production facility proposals directly affecting Tacoma and Pierce County.

“The Thin Green Line,” a presentation and Q&A with Sightline Institute policy director Eric de Place, will take place 7 p.m. Tuesday 7:00 p.m. at the Milgard Assembly Room in William W. Philip Hall (WPH) at the University of Washington, Tacoma, 1918 Pacific Ave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Sightline Institute (www.sightline.org) is a think tank that offers analysis of Northwest energy, economic and environmental policies.
