Tacoma-based TrueBlue Inc. reported third quarter revenues Wednesday of $684 million, an 8 percent increase over last year’s third quarter.
The revenue beat Wall Street analysts’ projections for the quarter. Earnings, however, fell a penny short of analysts’ estimates at 54 cents a share, up from 53 cents a share in the third quarter of 2014.
Company Chief Executive Officer Steve Cooper predicted fourth quarter revenues and earnings higher than the third quarter’s.
“For the fourth quarter of 2015, the company estimates revenue in the range of $738 million to $753 million and adjusted net income per share of $0.58 to $0.64,” the company said in a press release.
The company provides temporary staffing and employee recruiting to businesses around the country through its companies, Labor Ready, Spartan Staffing, Staff Management, Centerline, TransTechs, HRx, PlaneTechs, PeopleScout, CLP and PTS.
