Bezos finds home for new jet

Amazon.com’s CEO Jeff Bezos has apparently spent $5.5 million to acquire a Boeing Field hangar for his new intercontinental jet.

The Puget Sound Business Journal reported Thursday that Costco Wholesale sold the hangar to a company controlled by Bezos.

The Amazon founder recently purchased a Gulfstream 650 jet with a range of 7,000 nautical miles and a capacity of 19 people.

Bezos is one of America’s richest men with a net worth of $55 billion according to some estimates.
