$10k nonprofit grants available via Twitter

Your 140 words might make a $10,000 difference for a nonprofit organization you support.

The Minnesota-based Deluxe Corp., celebrating its 100th anniversary, will award 10 $10,000 grants to nonprofit groups nominated via Twitter.

The deadline for submissions is Nov. 4.

The company’s “Short & Tweet Grants Program” will award the grants to organizations that have “a primary mission based in economic empowerment, creating tomorrow’s workforce, promoting financial literacy, crisis assistance or the arts.”

Anyone “can take to Twitter and use the hashtag #DeluxeCares to make a nomination,” the company said in a recent release.
