Forza Coffee Company, founded in Gig Harbor in 2005, closed the doors on its last three corporate stores this week.
Forza locations in DuPont, Gig Harbor and on 27th Street and Bridgeport Way in University Place ceased operations earlier this week.
Only one, so far, has made any public remarks about the closings. The Gig Harbor location, in a Facebook post on Sunday, said “with a heavy heart, we are having to say goodbye.” The post went on to invite people to come say goodbye but offered no explanation for the closing.
Judith and Eugene Robinson are listed in state business records as the owners of the corporate stores. They did not return several messages left over several days for comment.
At its height, Forza had more than two dozen stores under its brand, mostly franchises that are independently owned. Several Forza franchise locations in the area remain open.
