Tacoma’s new Old Spaghetti Factory sets ribbon-cutting date
Fans of historical spaghetti, rejoice.
The Old Spaghetti Factory, a downtown Tacoma eatery of 44 years, announced Jan. 22 as the day the ribbon will be cut on new digs within the Pacific Plaza Building at 1250 Pacific Ave.
The restaurant will maintain service at its current location, 1735 Jefferson Ave., until Jan. 17, said Claire Talbert, general manager.
“It has a lot of great memories for a lot of people,” Talbert said Tuesday.
The interior trolley car already has been moved to the new site, as have other selected features of decor including bar walls and lighting fixtures, Talbert said.
The new venue will seat 394 guests, she said, while the Jefferson Avenue location seats 300.
“We’re making sure we still feel like ourselves,” she said.
