Lakewood Chick-fil-A permit hearing scheduled for Feb. 11
Chick-fil-A fans, take note.
The City of Lakewood will host a hearing concerning a conditional use permit for a drive-thru lane at a proposed Chick-fil-A outlet at 5429 100th St. SW.
The site is currently occupied by The Schooner Pub & Galley.
The public hearing will be held Feb. 11 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lakewood City Council chambers at Lakewood City Hall, 6000 Main St. SW.
The conditional-use permit must be considered before any further permitting is allowed, said Lakewood Economic Development Manager Becky Newton.
A California firm, 4G Development & Consulting, recently filed an application for State Environmental Policy Act review as well as an application for the permit to construct a drive-thru attached to a 4,500-square-foot Chick-fil-A at the Lakewood location.
