UWT Milgard School announces winners of Business Leadership Awards
The University of Washington Tacoma Milgard School of Business has announced the winners of the annual Business Leadership Awards.
▪ Business Leader of the Year: Marc Rogers, president and CEO at Interstate Distributor Co.
▪ Small-Business Leader of the Year: Chris Johnston, owner of Sparks Firehouse and Deli.
▪ Nonprofit Business Leader of the Year: Tanya Andrews, executive director at the Children’s Museum of Tacoma.
▪ Also this year, the selection committee recognized Melanie Dressel, president and CEO at Columbia Bank, with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The awards will be presented at a banquet April 5 at the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center ballroom. Tickets are available at $1,000 per table of eight, or $125 per single admission. For information, call the Milgard School at 253-692-4580.
