Piano Man returning to Tacoma Mall Nordstrom, one day only

Former Tacoma Mall Nordstrom piano player Juan Perez will be making a return visit to the store Saturday.

“The store manager called me a week ago,” Perez said this week. “She just asked me if I’d be interested to play.”

Yes, he was interested.

Fired from the position a few years ago, Perez has continued playing at several venues in the Puget Sound area.

Diagnosed with cancer, he is currently under treatment and will visit Lourdes, France, later this month.

Perez will play at the main floor at Nordstrom beginning at 11 a.m. and continuing through 2 p.m.
