Pierce County youth job fair set for Wednesday
Organizers will present the largest job fair in Washington aimed at young adults Wednesday (April 13) at the Star Center, 3873 66th St. in Tacoma.
Jobfest will run 2 -5 p.m. and feature 91 exhibitors including Chick-fil-A, Jimmy John’s, Starbucks, General Plastics, State Farm and Fred Meyer.
The event has been organized by several state and local agencies including WorkForce Central, Job Corps, WorkSource Pierce and the REACH Center.
The third annual event has targeted young adults from 16 to 24 years old.
The event is free and registration is not required.
