Local tax assistance available through Oct. 18
After the official tax filing deadline, which is Monday, April 18, you have another six months to seek help finalizing your return.
Goodwill has announced it will extend its partnership with the Pierce County Asset Building Coalition and funding partner KeyBank to provide free assistance for tax filers who meet certain income requirements.
The tax filing service center at the Milgard Work Opportunity Center, at 714 S. 27th St. in Tacoma, will remain open through Oct. 18 for singles or households earning less than $62,000 per year. The service will be available by appointment 4-7 p.m. Tuesdays.
