Rainier Connect acquires Lacey-based ISP ReachONE, plans upgrade

Tacoma-based Internet service provider Rainier Connect has acquired Lacey-based ReachONE Internet.

Rainier Connect is upgrading that system and plans to offer gigabit speeds to ReachONE’s customers in the next year, according to a news release. At the same time, Rainier Connect is planning fiber builds in Graham, Eatonville, Centralia and Chehalis, which will allow the company to eventually offer 1-gig service to those communities.

Rainier Connect will hire all ReachONE employees and will keep its office in Lacey. ReachONE served customers in Lacey, Olympia and communities in Grays Harbor, Mason and Pacific counties.

Current ReachONE Internet customers can call 360-456-5640 with questions about their service.
