Veterans and others can apply for health jobs in Puyallup on Saturday

TriWest Healthcare Alliance will host a career fair Saturday in Puyallup to recruit workers to serve the community health care needs of veterans.

The event will be May 21 from 10:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the TriWest Healthcare Alliance Puyallup Operations Center, 1019 39th Ave. S.E. in Puyallup.

TriWest, which administers the VA’s Veterans Choice Program and Patient-Centered Community Care Program, processes more than 110,000 authorizations per month across 28 states. The company expanded its operations in Puyallup last May and continues to seek additional staff, according to a company release.

“We are seeking dedicated applicants who are passionate about serving veterans, and I would be most pleased if many of these positions were filled with veterans themselves,” said Dave McIntyre, Jr., President and CEO of TriWest Healthcare Alliance.

The company is looking to fill positions in clinical, nonclinical and management roles, including patient services representatives, complex authorization specialists, supervisors, team leads, senior recruiter, manager and senior human capital specialist. Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes to the event.
