▪  Kathleen Deakins, president and owner of JayRay Ads and PR in Tacoma, recently was recognized at the 2016 Telly Award Communicator Awards. The company received one Award of Excellence and three Awards of Distinction. JayRay’s strategy for showcasing Tehaleh in Bonney Lake, the work with the city of Fife in its branding campaign, Travel Tacoma + Pierce County for its Portland takeover event, Tacoma Pierce County Chamber for the Know 15 educational effort and Tacoma Public Schools for its calendar were the projects recognized.

The Telly Awards honor excellence in video production, web commercials and broadcast programs.

▪  Washington Patriot Construction of Gig Harbor recently received two Associated General Contractors of Washington Awards for Construction Excellence. In the category of private building, $10 million to $25 million range for the 45-335 Temporary Manufacturing Facility in Everett and in the category of public building, $10 million to $25 million range for the Relocate and Consolidate PSNS & IMF Shops in Silverdale.
