$1.5M homes adjacent to championship golf course planned by builder with Tacoma ties
A regional home builder with offices in Tacoma is planning new homes worth more than $1 million each in Auburn.
Garrette Custom Homes announced this month that sales would begin March 22 for home sites in a new community, The Reserve at Washington National, next to the Washington National Golf Club.
The 18-hole championship course is home to University of Washington’s men’s and women’s golf teams.
The new neighborhood will feature 28 homes on 1- to 1-1/2-acre lots, with prices starting at $1.5 million.
The neighborhood is not far from Lake Tapps, The White River Amphitheater and Muckleshoot Casino and Resort, and is in the Auburn School District.
“We are thrilled to launch this one-of-a-kind project ... with its unmatched proximity to Washington National,” said Matt Lewis, Puget Sound Division president of Garrette Custom Homes in the release.
The homes will range from 2,909 to 4,190 square feet, with first-floor 9-foot ceilings. One of the homes will include a six-car garage. Each property offers space for RV parking and will be wired for EV.
Garrette and its companion firm, Pacific Lifestyle Homes, have offices in Tacoma serving the Puget Sound region, and Vancouver, Washington, serving Southwest Washington and Portland.
Last fall, Garrette announced it was building new homes as one of nine Glacier Pointe homebuilders at Tehaleh near Bonney Lake.
