AARP to hold coronavirus tele-town hall with state officials Saturday

AARP Washington will hold a statewide tele-town hall Saturday on the novel coronavirus that will feature Gov. Jay Inslee, Attorney General Bob Ferguson, and state State Secretary of Health John Wiesman.

The state officials plan to provide updates and answer listener questions about the virus, how it affects older adults, and what scams to watch for during the COVID-19 outbreak. Doug Shadel, state director of AARP Washington, will be the moderator.

To listen in and ask questions, dial toll-free 1-855-962-1240 at 9:50 a.m. on Saturday. The event is set to end at 11:20 a.m.
