Protests continue across Washington state against the type of police use of force that led to George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis.

At a press conference on Monday, Inslee said peaceful demonstration is “enshrined in our Constitution; the ability to petition one’s government for redress of grievances is actually a constitutional right and we ought to respect that and understand it in that context.”
