2 extricated, seriously hurt after car hit tree in Graham, officials say
Two people were seriously injured after the speeding car they were traveling in struck a tree in Graham on Friday afternoon, according to Graham Fire & Rescue.
The crash happened about 3:15 p.m. in the 10600 block of 200th Street East, Assistant Chief Steve Richards said.
Both the man and woman were trapped in the car and had to be extricated, Richards said. One of them was taken to a Tacoma hospital; the other was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.
It is unclear why the car left the roadway, Richards said.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the wreck.
