A 64-year-old woman died Sunday morning when she was run over by her own vehicle while stopping to pickup somebody at a Tacoma home, Tacoma Police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.

A 64-year-old woman died Sunday morning when she was run over by her own vehicle while stopping to pickup somebody at a Tacoma home, Tacoma Police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.

The woman was picking up a person on the 3400 block of North Narrows Drive when the incident occurred at about 9 a.m. An accident investigation team is working to determine the cause of the incident.
