Power out throughout Key Peninsula
The power was out throughout the Key Peninsula on Saturday afternoon, officials say.
Peninsula Light Co. had an area-wide outage because of issues with a Tacoma Public Utilities transmission line, the company said about 4 p.m.
The cause is under investigation, but power was restored about 5:30 p.m. to much of the area.
