Justin Timberlake won’t be playing at the Tacoma Dome thanks to the weather
Snowy weather will keep Justin Timberlake from performing at the Tacoma Dome this year.
His Monday concert has been canceled, a day after officials said they would postpone the Sunday show that was unable to take place.
Live Nation is unable to reschedule the performances so ticket holders will be refunded.
“Justin Timberlake is sorry that we are unable to reschedule these two shows,” the Tacoma Dome said in a news release.
The concerts were part of the “Man of the Woods” tour, which started in March 2018 and wraps up in April.
Officials said the ongoing snowstorms, Gov. Jay Inslee declaring a state of emergency due to road closures and impacts to the transportation system led to the decision not to hold the shows.
This is the fourth event postponed or canceled at the Tacoma Dome since Friday, when the heaviest snow fell in Puget Sound.
Michelle Obama’s appearance to promote her memoir, “Becoming,” was postponed from Friday to March 24.
Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, scheduled for Saturday, also had to be rescheduled. Information on a new date has yet to be announced.
