Zac Brown Band will play at the Tacoma Dome this fall
Zac Brown Band is continuing its nonstop touring schedule in 2020.
The popular country music stars on Thursday announced its “Roar with the Lions Tour” presented by Polaris, with a concert at the Tacoma Dome on Oct. 17.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 17 at the Heritage Bank Box Office or online at ticketmaster.com.
The tour kicks off Feb. 1 in Florida and wraps up Oct. 18 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Tacoma will be the second to last stop.
“Our summer tour is inspired by the folklore surrounding the figure of the lion. I am a Leo, and all of the guys in the band are lions,” Zac Brown said in a news release. “They exemplify strength, courage, intelligence, and loyalty, and work in tandem to defend their territory and one another. The crowd is our pride — rooted in togetherness and fiercely loyal. They always show up for each other, no matter what, just like our fans always show up for us. We can’t wait to hear you roar with us!”
This summer’s tour will come on the heels of the spring leg of “The Owl Tour,” which features 18 stops across the United States and Canada.
Zac Brown Band holds the record for most consecutive sold-out shows at Fenway Park and was named one of the 10 Best Country and Americana Live Acts of the 2010s by “The Boot.”
