Country music star Carrie Underwood will perform at Washington State Fair in Puyallup

Country music star Carrie Underwood will perform at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup this fall.

The former American Idol champion will take the stage Sept. 5.

Tickets for the general public go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 25. They can be bought on the Fair’s website or by calling 888-559-FAIR (3247) from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Prices are $95, $145 and $160 and include admission to the Fair.

Since winning American Idol in 2005, Underwood has become one of the best-selling female country artists with more then 64 million records sold worldwide and 27 No. 1 singles, 14 of which she co-wrote.

Her last album ,”Cry Pretty,” was released in 2018, and she toured last year.

Underwood is on her seventh season as the voice of NBC’s Sunday Night Football and last year hosted the Country Music Awards for the 12th consecutive year alongside Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire.

She’s won seven Grammy awards and multiple American Music Awards, including seven for favorite female country artist and six for favorite country album. The latter win broke an AMA record for most wins in the favorite country album category.
