Elderly man reported missing from Fircrest found inside crashed car in ravine

A 75-year-old man reported missing from Fircrest was found Thursday morning after crashing his car into a ravine in Silverdale.

A Silver Alert was put out Wednesday for James Boyle, who suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

He was last seem about 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Fircrest Golf Club.

Loved ones became worried when he did not return home.

On Thursday, Boyle’s vehicle was found totaled in a ravine in Silverdale.

Boyle was found inside and rescued.

Pierce County sheriff’s deputies said he will be reunited with his wife after being evaluated by paramedics.
