School delays, closures in Pierce County due to rain and flooding
With ongoing rain and flooding across Western Washington, a few school districts are starting late or closing Friday.
Here are the ones affected in Pierce County:
Carbonado School District: On emergency bus routes all day.
Eatonville School District: Starting two hours late. No morning preschool. Out of district transportation will go at the regular time.
Orting School District: Closed.
Tacoma Community College: Closed.
