Ski resorts are the latest to be impacted by the spread of coronavirus.

On Saturday, Crystal Mountain Resort announced that it will suspend all operations starting Sunday (March 15).

They did not provide a timeline or possible date to reopen.

Those who have bought tickets or made bookings are expected to get a refund.

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this short notice will undoubtedly create,” the resort wrote on its website. “We look forward to welcoming you back to the mountains as circumstances improve.”

Crystal is one of 15 ski resorts owned by Alterra Mountain Company that announced closures Saturday due to COVID-19.
