Pedestrian hit and killed by vehicle in Parkland has been identified

A Tacoma man who died after he was struck by a vehicle in Parkland a week ago has been identified, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Robert M. Wolff, 66, was hit about 11:30 p.m. July 12. Information about the incident was released July 19.

Troopers say a 24-year-old California woman and her passenger were headed north on state Route 7, also known as Pacific Avenue, when they hit Wolff.

Wolff was crossing the street at 108th Street South and Pacific Avenue, according to the State Patrol.

After the crash, traffic was blocked for more than an hour, Troopers say.

Wolff’s next of kin were notified by staff at Tacoma General Hospital, according to the State Patrol.
