Man killed in Parkland house fire, police say
A house fire killed a man in Parkland on Tuesday, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies and detectives responded to the fire on A Street early Tuesday morning, according to a tweet from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
Officers say there were seven adults in the house at the time of the fire and six of them escaped. One man was found dead inside the home.
According to the sheriff’s department, the cause of the fire is still under investigation. Police say it does not currently appear suspicious.
