Record number of WA lottery Match 4 tickets came up winners on a single day recently

They can’t all be winners, but a record number of Washington lottery players won big Oct. 30, with 53 “Match 4” tickets drawing all four correct numbers.

The winning tickets are each worth $10,000, altogether totaling $530,000 in prizes for the winners, according to a news release from Washington’s Lottery. The winning numbers were 08-10-17-20.

The tickets were purchased all over the state, including in Tacoma, Everett, Anacortes and Tukwila.

The previous record for the most Match 4 tickets to win in a day was 42 tickets in December 2017.

Match 4 is a daily draw game where each play is $2. Players pick four numbers between 1 and 24. Alternatively, players can let the computer select their numbers. With three winning ball combinations, the more numbers that match those drawn, the more a player will win.
