Steilacoom apartment fire displaces 21 people
A Steilacoom apartment fire left 21 people homeless Thursday morning.
All residents were safely evacuated from the building in the 100 block of Village Green Loop, according to West Pierce Fire & Rescue.
The alarm came in around 8:30 a.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to West Pierce spokesperson Hallie McCurdy.
The Red Cross was sending personnel to the scene.
