East Pierce County car accident results in power outage for Puget Sound Energy customers
Power may be out for some East Pierce County residents after a car ran into a power pole in Bonney Lake Saturday morning.
The single-car accident happened on the 5300 block of 218th Street East near Lake Tapps, according to a East Pierce Firefighters IAFF Local 3520 post on Facebook.
Power is expected to be out in the area while Puget Sound Energy crews replace the pole.
The two passengers were not injured.
The area of 218th Street East near the accident had one lane open Saturday morning.
