Pierce County deputies are seeking help from the public to locate a 21-year-old Spanaway woman who hasn’t been seen or heard from by family for more than a week.

Rio Boyd was last seen Oct. 17 at about 6 p.m. in the Spanaway area, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the Sheriff’s Department described Boyd as a 5-foot-6, 215-pound white woman with brown hair and blue eyes with a scar on her left forearm and a mole above her lip.

Deputies said the woman’s cell phone was located the night she was last seen near Field Road and Mountain Highway, reportedly close by her family’s home.

Anyone with information about Boyd’s whereabouts was asked to call 911.
