Those who enjoy the sound of rain may have to hang tight for a couple of days.

The sun, along with some clouds, will linger in the Tacoma area for most of this week.

Beginning Sunday, the sun will send light rays in the mornings until nightfall. However, people should probably keep their coats, blankets and hot beverages within arm’s reach.

Morning temperatures could reach between 44 to 47 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the National Weather Service. Night temperatures can dip into the low 30s.

Beginning Thursday night, there is a slight chance of rain. That slight chance may also bleed onto Friday.
