Hang in there, spring cravers: expect sun and high 50s next week, forecasters say

They say spring showers are necessary to make spring flowers, right?

Expect some more rain Saturday night and Sunday with a high near 48, but never fear: spring is upon us. It looks like the sun will be out most of the day all week, with temperatures in the high 50s, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday forecast: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55. Partly cloudy overnight, with a low around 41.

Tuesday forecast: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. Partly cloudy overnight, with a low around 40.

Wednesday forecast: Sunny, with a high near 59. Mostly clear overnight with a low around 38.

Thursday forecast: Slight chance of rain, mostly sunny, with a high near 56. Partly cloudy overnight, with a low around 41.

Friday forecast: Chance of rain. Partly sunny, with high near 52.
